Our program incorporates Milady Standard Barbering 6th edition curriculum, which is focused on preparing students to meet (and exceed) the expectations of modern salon clients. Our educational content combines the best programs to facilitate an interactive, engaging, and responsive learning environment.

  • How Long Does The Program Take?

    To become a licensed cosmetologist or barber in Mississippi, you must complete at least 1500 hours at an accredited institute. We offer a 1500-hour cosmetology and barber program in both full-time and part-time schedules.

  • Is The Program Accredited?

    Traxler's School of Hair offers accredited programs by the ACCSC Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. 

  • How Much Does The Program Cost

    The full tuition, fees, books, and equipment are listed in our catalog. 

  • What Do I Need To Enroll In The Program?

    You will need to complete your FAFSA Application, our school's application, and a copy of your GED or diploma.

  • Do I Get A Certificate?

    Upon completion of the barber program, you will receive a certificate from Traxler's School of Hair. Students will also receive certificates after completing each module through Pivot Point LAB.
